The final C4 marked the end of a hugely popular series that started in 1984 and ended in '96 with more than 330,000 fourth-generation Corvettes created and has left a legacy of technological advancement and overall improvement in its wake. As the years pass, the fourth generation Corvettes will take their rightful place in Corvette history.

The seal goes on the valve guide while the o ring goes in the bottom groove to stop(slow) oil flow down the stem. They stem the flow of oil from leaking

if i remember correctly the seals should go one bottom and the O-ring goes on top and rest in a small groove on the stem or seal to hold the seal assy in

Valve stem seals
I have a new set of valve seals. There are 16 O-ring seals and 16 umbrella seals. Which go on first. My old seals have 2 piece metal rings on the umbrellas and
